"Dream On" is a power ballad by Aerosmith from their 1973 eponymous debut album. Written by lead singer Steven Tyler, this song was their first major hit and became a classic rock radio staple.

“Dream On” first appeared on Aerosmith's 1973 self-titled debut album, and initially peaked at No. 59 on the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released as single that year. However, the song was reissued in late 1975 and then went on to became the band's first Top 10 hit on the Hot 100, reaching No. 6 in April of 1976.

"Dream On" Is The Debut Of The "Real" Steven Tyler. When rock fans think of Tyler, the singer's trademark raspy vocal style comes immediately to mind. Though upon careful listen to Aerosmith's debut album, the singer's vocals are notably neutered and sound different stylistically.
